More than 300 residential units could be headed for Hyde Park.
Located near the Readville commuter rail station, a 2.8-acre development at 1717 -1725 Hyde Park Ave. is under review at the Boston Planning and Development Agency. The Residences at Readville Station by developer Ad Meliora LLC would house roughly 305 residences, from studios to three-bedroom units. The plans call for a mix of condos for sale and rentals.
Amenities at the complex would include an on-site bike shop, storage for 300-plus bicycles, a clubroom, a fitness room, garage parking for 221 vehicles, a lounge, and a media lab. Additionally, the 269,785-square-foot development would bring 4,200 square feet of restaurant and retail space to the corner of Hyde Park Avenue and Milton Street.
The two buildings that make up The Residences at Readville Station would border a central courtyard. According to the project notification form, this area would be comprised of three levels, starting with the buildings’ main entrances, a public plaza with a small park, and a restaurant with outdoor seating at the top. The middle level would include resident amenities such as a pool area, and the lowest level would contain parking.
