For the first time ever, this massive New Hampshire estate is being offered for sale.

Custom-built for its owner in 1991, 140 Pond Brook Road in West Chesterfield, N.H., (also known as The Farm at Pond Brook) has been in the same family for nearly 30 years. On Friday, Oct. 15, the Georgian Colonial estate on 88.4 acres will be sold at auction through Platinum Luxury Auctions. The listing agent is Patricia Paquette of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, The Masiello Group.

The grandiosity of The Farm is apparent from the start. A circular motor court with a fountain meets the home’s brick exterior, which is accented by Corinthian columns and shows off a new custom slate roof with copper gutters.

Inside, the home offers six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and three half bathrooms for a total of 15,707 square feet of living space. The ground floor is home to recreational spaces,  including an entertainment lounge complete with a billiards section and soda fountain. There’s also an indoor pool, spa, and sunroom enclosed by a conservatory.

Upstairs, each bedroom gets its own en-suite bath, and the primary suite takes up an entire wing. It includes walls of windows, a fireplace, two walk-in closets, and a bathroom with a double vanity and jetted tub next to a bow window.

Throughout the home, there are hand-painted murals by artist John C. Traynor found in spaces such as the indoor pool and the primary bedroom and bathroom.

The expansive grounds are filled with amenities, including outdoor tennis and basketball courts, a putting green, trails for hiking and ATVs, and a gazebo overlooking the private pond.

Additional offerings around the property include a catering kitchen, an elevator, a detached barn-style four-car garage, and a studio apartment with a private entrance over the attached garage.

The live, in-person bidding will take place at the home. Remote bidding is also available. Bidders must be registered.
