Twenty|20 is a residential high-rise located in that still evolving neighborhood once known as NorthPoint but now being marketed as Cambridge Crossing, a roughly 45-acre spot between the Museum of Science and the decking of Interstate 93 in Charlestown.

It’s a short walk from the Orange Line’s Community College Station. Head across the Gilmore Bridge to Child Street and the curving driveway that lines the front of the distinctive white 20-story building where the lobby is staffed by a 24-hour concierge.

The model unit is on the fourth floor. It’s a one-bedroom, 797-square-foot apartment with ceilings higher than the standard 9 feet because of the 3,000 square feet of building amenities that share this floor.

From the hallway, one enters into an open floor plan encompassing the kitchen and living area, a space awash in natural light from a wall of windows and a door connecting to a private terrace with a teak deck, a feature available only on the fourth floor.

The U-shaped kitchen, found to the left, features stainless-steel appliances, including an electric stove; white wooden soft-close cabinets with flat fronts; quartz counters; two USB ports; and a black, white, and gray tile backsplash. Pendant lights hang over the breakfast bar separating the kitchen from the living area, which is roughly 210 square feet and rectangular. The flooring in the kitchen and living area is vinyl that looks like dark wood.

The bedroom, which is about 120 square feet, has carpet and its own set of floor-to-ceiling windows. The walk-through closet connects to a bath with a tub/shower combo, a single vanity topped with quartz, and ceramic tiles on the floor and surrounding the shower.

The unit also offers a closet with a stacked washer and dryer.

Down the hallway are amenities framed by floor-to-ceiling windows and exterior decking. The building has a 3,000-square-foot gym with spectacular views and a yoga deck, a club room with a rentable bar area, a computer cafe, a library with a fireplace, a meeting room, and a courtyard with a fireplace. The property also offers a regulation half-court basketball setup, a rooftop terrace, a pet grooming station, a bike “garage’’ with individual racks and repair tools, and parking (for an additional fee). The rent covers trash pickup.
