Gloria Estefan signed paperwork on Friday to make her Boston’s newest celeb property owner.
The Latina pop singer, her husband, Emilio, and her daughter, Emily, closed on a $1.1 million condo in the Fenway last week, according to the Suffolk Registry of Deeds.
Sources for the Boston Business Journal reported that Emily Estefan is a freshman studying at Berklee College of Music and she plans to live in the space while in the Hub.
The unit was listed on the Hammond Real Estate website as a 1,473-square foot 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom with wide-plank hardwood floors. The Symphony Court building was built in 1910 and includes property amenities like a fulltime attendant, club room, fitness center, and common outdoor terrace.
Gloria discussed Emily’s plans to study at Berklee last summer during an interview with Newsday.
“She’s an amazing musician — the best of all of us,’’ Gloria said of her daughter. “She plays drums, guitar, piano. And she can sing. She refuses to up to now, but I know it’s gonna happen.’’
A realtor at Hammond declined comment to the BBJ.
