An atrium, at the home's center, filters light into the interior. The Agency, Beverly Hills

Jamie Dornan, the Northern Ireland-born actor best known for his lead role in the movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” has put his mid-century modern Hollywood home on the market for $3,195,000.

He bought the home in 2011 when he started working on the television series “Once Upon a Time” and while filming “Fifty Shades.” He has since returned to his residence in Cotswolds, England, according to

Nestled in the Hollywood Hills among large shade trees at the end of Nichols Canyon Road, the 2,510-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath home was built in 1959 but underwent an extensive update prior to Dornan’s purchase. Capitalizing on the pleasant year-round climate, the center of the home is an atrium with a pond, a space that floods the interior rooms with sunlight and the sounds of a waterfall.  The home also opens to a deck with a terrace, grass area, swimming pool, spa, and fire pit that is enclosed for privacy by a wall and towering foliage.

The interior offers floor-to-ceiling glass walls that open to either the atrium or the outdoor entertainment area. There is a double-sided fireplace between the living and dining rooms. The kitchen abuts the atrium, making it feel as if one is cooking outside. The master suite has a walk-through closet and opens to the terrace.

The listing agent is Jeff Kohl of The Agency, Beverly Hills in California.
