$7.1 million Weston home on 2-plus acres tops priciest sales list

Monday was a big day in real estate. All four homes on our weekly tally of the priciest sales closed on that day. The top seller, a five-bedroom Weston home on more than 2 acres, went for $7,150,000, followed by a Beacon Hill town house that sold for $6,900,000 and a waterfront property in Marion with a price tag of $5,450,000. A Wellesley home completed our list, selling for $3,597,750.

121 Rolling Lane, Weston

Resting on 2.64 acres, this stone and Shingle-style home offers five bedrooms and 6.5 baths in 9,111 square feet of living space. The 16-room home by architect Marcus Gleysteen has a family room with a vaulted oak ceiling, window-lined living and dining rooms, a wine cellar, an oak library, a master suite with a fireplace and a balcony, and a home theater. Other highlights include covered porches, a patio, a pool, a fire pit, a gym, a sauna, and a three-car garage. The property sold Monday for $7,150,000, according to the listing firm, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

This Greek Revival town house (pictured below) boasts five bedrooms and 4.5 baths, including a garden suite with its own entrance and patio access, according to the listing firm, Campion and Company. Offering 4,377 square feet of living space across five levels, this home, built in 1890, sold for $6,900,000 on Monday. Highlights include an eat-in kitchen, a top-level media room, and a private deck off the third floor.

This nearly six-acre property comes with a private sandy beach and a dock. Offering six bedrooms, seven full baths, and two half baths, it sold for $5,450,000 on Monday, according to the listing firm, Robert Paul Properties. The main house features a two-story great room, home theater, and a master suite with two bathrooms and a deck. The property also features a pool, a guest house, and a small apartment over the garage.
