The selling price for this South End condo caught our attention, but its arched windows no doubt attracted suitors.

Unit 201 at 201 West Brookline St. sold for $3,990,000 on March 7, making it one of the priciest home sales last week.

The three-bedroom condo, sold by Tracy Campion of Campion and Company Fine Homes Real Estate, has 3.5 baths, a gas fireplace, and 3,109 square feet of living space. The charm of the property, however, is in its roots.

Located on the corner of West Brookline Street and Warren Avenue, the residence is one of nine condos carved out of the former Concord Baptist Church in 2018. (The church resettled in Milton in 2011.) The homes, on the second and third floors of the building, feature remnants of the church’s architecture, such as oversize arched windows and cathedral ceilings.

The unit comes with on-site underground garage parking for two vehicles.
