Luxury Spring House Hunt
11001 SW 62d Ave. Douglas Elliman Real Estate

Red Sox prospect Rusney Castillo has put his two-story plantation-style estate in Pinecrest, Fla., on the market for $3,953,000.

The 10,572-square-foot home, listed with Megan Salazar and Kent Campbell of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, has six bedrooms and 8.5 baths. Located at 11001 S.W. 62d Ave. in this Miami suburb, it was built in 2014 — the same year the Cuban-born right fielder signed a $72.5 million contract with the Red Sox. Since then, he has bounced between the majors and minors. He is currently on the roster of the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Highlights of the home include Cararra marble and wood flooring through out the house, a living/dining area with a gas fireplace, high ceilings, walls of windows, and a master suite with dual walk-in closets, a seating area, a soaking tub, and a balcony overlooking the pool area, which is lined with palm trees. The property also has staff quarters, a covered patio, a cabana, an outdoor kitchen, and a four-car garage.

The gated lot is 0.83 of an acre.
