In 2003, back when he was a cornerback for the New England Patriots, Ty Law worked with designer Cecil Hayes to create a one-of-a-kind house in Plantation, Fla.

Now you can own his six-bedroom, 6.5-bath, 5,500-square-foot “courtyard house.” The home, 10862 Hawks Vista St., located in the Hawks Landing gated community, is listed for $2,198,000.

Law played for the Patriots from 1995 through 2004 and won three Super Bowl rings with the team. A member of the Patriots Hall of Fame, he retired from the NFL in 2009. He is now the owner and founder of Launch Trampoline Park, which has locations around the country.

“Walk through the double doors at the front of the house and enter through the courtyard, where the pool sits in the center,” Barbara Shapiro of Coldwell Banker, the home’s listing agent, said. “The home wraps around the pool in a U-shape.”

But the outside is much more than just a swimming pool.

The Tahitian-style backyard offers 12-foot waterfalls, LED lighting, and a water cave made up of rocks, speakers, koi ponds, and three separate covered areas.

One is his favorites, Shapiro added, is “the Tahitian-style pavilion with built-in couches for 15 people and a 60-inch TV where he would watch games.”

There is also a kitchen under one of the covered areas that features a bar area and a grill.

Shapiro added that Law loves to host guests in his backyard, but inside you’ll find a similar level of high-end amenities, including smart-home technology.

The kitchen was recently renovated (also with the help of Cecil Hayes) to have white-glass counters and high-end appliances.

There’s a built-in aquarium between the living and family rooms, and the home also boasts an interior waterfall constructed of glass and chrome that has back lighting for a nice pop of color.

“When you get up the staircase, [also made with] glass and chrome, you’ll come into a huge game room with a balcony and a bar,” Shapiro said.

You’ll also find a home theater in which the walls are burgundy leather, and there is a popcorn machine and a bar.

The home comes with a guest house that Law uses as his office. If you need more space for guests, however, there is a Murphy bed.

The gated community, Hawks Landing, boasts a tennis complex, a clubhouse, a large pool, and a fitness center with spa facilities.
