You can live around the corner from Tom Brady — for about $17,000 a month

It’s a field position that would be desirable for any New England Patriots fan — a home around the corner from Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s house in Brookline.

Here’s the catch: It costs $16,995 a month to rent 132 Yarmouth Road.

Sitting on about an acre in Chestnut Hill, the 6,000-square-foot home — boasting modern features such as vaulted ceilings, walls of glass, a fresh-air intake system, and an in-ground heated pool — is near The Country Club in Brookline, of which Brady and Bundchen are members

The property, which was built in 1982, has four bedrooms, three full baths, and two half baths. It has undergone a number of updates in recent years — including the installation of hardwood flooring in all four bedrooms. The security system and high-end stainless-steel appliances are also new.

The master wing features a fireplace, a roughly 800-square-foot walk-in closet/dressing room, a study with built-ins, a wet bar, and an onyx bath.

Additional features of the home include a two-car heated garage, central air, gas heat, and a separate suite with a kitchenette.

The listing agent, Evan Roberts, said that the owners are looking for tenants to live there a minimum of six months — two years or more is preferred — and that the lease is negotiable. Landscaping services, snow removal, and pool maintenance are included in the rent. The property is not up for purchase because the owner is looking to keep it in the family, Roberts said.

“[It’s ideal for] someone looking for a property that makes a statement, has a lot of style and personality, and wants to be where all the movers and shakers are but still have the privacy,” he said.
