Cambridge is still the most expensive Eastern Massachusetts city for renters, according to a new report, with Boston coming in second and Brookline third.

The least expensive rents can be found in Fall River and Brockton, but Framingham saw the largest increase from July 2018 to July 2019 — 12.7 percent, according to the Zumper real estate site. Fall River saw the second-highest rent increase (7 percent). The median rent for a one-bedroom unit in Greater Boston was $1,910 in July.
