Stunning views from massive windows make this mid-century modern in Lincoln an ideal place to enjoy watching the leaves change or the snowflakes fall.

263 Old Concord Road is tucked away for ultimate privacy, but listing agent Beverly Davis said it isn’t so far that it would exclude a buyer who works in the city.

“It’s a perfect storm if you are looking for private space but you don’t want a big commute,” she said. The surrounding area, however, is growing to the point where you might not even miss Boston, she said.

The home is also just four miles from the center of Concord, which Davis called the “quintessential New England town,” complete with churches, shops, and cafes aplenty. The property includes 1,000 feet of frontage on Fairhaven Bay, and it’s located next to more than 200 acres of conservation land.

William Raveis Real Estate & Home Services has the property listed for $4,450,000. It includes more than 7 acres, 5,815 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a two-car garage. With expansive windows in nearly every room framing views of the surrounding greenery and water, Davis said the home feels as if the outdoors are inside with you. The family room boasts a wall of glass overlooking the water.

“It’s an ever-changing mural of the seasons,” Davis said.

Hardwood floors cover the space, and a vast stone fireplace separates the dining room from a sitting area. Another fireplace rests in the living room, which flows seamlessly into the kitchen. The kitchen features wooden cabinetry, along with a countertop range and an inset microwave.

The interior is lovely, Davis said, but the real star of the property is the land.

A stone patio peers out over the water, where residents can boat, fish, ski, or skate.
